In order to bill insurance for reimbursement of services, you will receive a mental health diagnosis based on your presenting symptoms during the Intake Appointment. As a business run by a former special ed kid, we are very aware of the impact of labels. We use a diagnosis in collaboration with you to aid in treatment planning purposes. Psychotherapy is something that is done *with* you, not *to* you.
We do not evaluate or diagnose ASD or ADHD. We're happy to help you identify options for accessing an evaluation.
No, we do not provide medication management.
Our private pay rate is $225 for a 60-minute intake and $180 for a 55-minute individual session.
Your costs may vary depending on the cost-sharing setup of your insurance plan (if using insurance).
We aim to serve clients using a hybrid model. Beginning April 1, 2026, we will have a new home at Park Towers Executive Offices in Vancouver, WA!
Our address starting April 1, 2026 is:
201 NE Park Plaza Dr., STE 200, Vancouver, Washington 98684
Great question! You can reach out by submitting a contact form. From there, I will send you a link to either a free consultation booking page or an appointment request page, depending on how ready you feel to start the process.
If you're seeking collaboration around a project or event, then you can select your preferred communication method and we will connect that way. You may be sent a link to my free consultation booking page later on.
Uncle Ben once said "with great power comes great responsibility" and I just don't see myself as someone who wants to wield either one.
It comes down to a matter of ethics. Because I am a Master's-level clinician, I can't conduct evaluations with insurance reimbursement, meaning an evaluation could only be paid for out-of-pocket. The amount of work involved in the assessments and report-writing are worth thousands of dollars in labor, and I can't justify charging someone that amount when there is a possibility they may not meet the threshold for a diagnosis. Imagine going to the doctor, explaining your symptoms, and undergoing tests, only to learn there's nothing wrong with you, but now you owe a small fortune. However, I also can't work for free. There needs to be a balance.
Additionally, there are so many assessment tools, many of which were developed to pathologize conditions like ASD/ADHD. I have previous experience administering the ADOS-2 (widely considered a "gold standard" tool) and I just chose to opt-out of the system.
Not yet! I am completing my approved supervisor training requirements for Washington state with an anticipated start date of March 2027 to begin supervising.
